The City of Crofton North Park Committee is working on a perennial garden
and is asking everyone to help with this project. If you have flowers,
bushes, trees, topsoil, fertilizer, mulch, or an extra bench to share or
would like to donate, please bring them to the south entrance of North Park
on May 5th from 9am to noon. For help digging up perennials, please call
Susie Hillman at 402-388-4210 or Kim & Mary Sawatzke at 402-388-4852. Please
label your plants.
The North Park Committee will be picking up rocks on Sunday, April 29th from
noon to 2pm. These rocks will be used in the North Park Perrennial Garden.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Contact Janet Lammers at 402-640-5116

The Crofton Community Club, City Staff, and kids from the schools are doing
city-wide cleanup on May 11th. Bring rakes, gloves, and clippers to help
clean up the parks before summer starts.
Crofton High School’s graduation services are Saturday, May 12th at 2pm. We
wish the best to our graduating seniors, their families and their friends.
Crofton’s Assisted Living 5K Walk Run will be held Saturday, May 26th on a
route throughout the city of Crofton. The route begins and ends at the
Crofton Baseball Field. You will be able to view the Memorial Day flags in
the city park and continue to the newly completed Sharon Street. The cost,
including a t-shirt, is $20 for preregistered runners and $25 on the day of

email@example.com. Saturday, May 26th, registration begins at 7am, 5K
walk/run begins at 8am, and ends at the Crofton Baseball Field. Proceeds
will benefit the Crofton Assisted Living. It will be held rain or shine. Ads
for t-shirts may be purchased for $50. Please email your logo/information
you would like on the back of t-shirt to Helene.Hegge@gmail.com.

Senior Center Bloodbmobile. You make a difference in your community. Giving

Crofton Senior Center News:

Crofton Fitness Classes at the City Auditorium on Tuesdays and Thursdays at
7:00pm. The fitness classes work for many different fitness levels. Get in
shape with others from the community!
Crofton’s Youth Program meets in the city auditorium after school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays when school is in session. All school-aged children are welcome to attend. The Youth Program offers activities, sports, and games for kids, and parents are welcome to attend with their children.
Main Street Treasures is a non-profit thrift store operated by volunteers. The store sells clothing, housewares, small furniture, small appliances, lawn & garden items, toys, baby stuff, hunting accessories, and other items. Proceeds benefit the Crofton area. Main Street Treasures is open Wednesdays 10am to 8pm, Thursdays and Fridays, 10am to 6pm, Saturdays 10am to 2pm, and the first Sunday of the month 10am to 1pm.
Crofton Community Club Bucks make GREAT gifts for teachers, pastors, employees, grown children, & friends!
