Crofton Volunteer Firefighters Appreciate Dance, Saturday, March 17th from
8pm to midnight at the Crofton Auditorium featuring the Outback Band.
Nationally known Tom Sadge, a Neil Diamond Tribute Artist, will be making a
special appearance throughout the night with The Outback Band. Don’t miss
this fantastic fundraiser to support your firefighters and rescue. Food
stand will be available at 7pm with Potato Bar and surprise St. Patrick’s
Day treat. Proceeds from the potato bar will help to rescue the Crofton Pool
and Bath House. The potato bar is sponsored by the Crofton Pool Restoration
The Crofton Community Club is doing their Bracket Buster Challenge again
this year for the March basketball games. Pick up a bracket from a community
club member or from Sports Stop. This is a fun fundraiser for the community
club. Brackets can be returned to Sports Stop or emailed to Dawn
Crofton Elementary School is currently accepting registration and enrollment
information for students who plan to enter Kindergarten for the 2018-2019
school year. Registration packets were mailed to parents/guardians the week
of January 22nd. Please contact Mark Wragge, elementary principal, or Suzy
Pautler, school secretary at 402-388-4357 if you did not receive a
registration packet or if you have any questions.

Caregiver’s Support Group meets the 14th at 1:30.
Pie Sale and St Pat’s evening meal on Thursday the 15th, serving corn beef
and cabbage, cooked carrots, minted pears, cream d’mint cake and beer bread.
Board meeting the 20th at 8:30 am.
Birthday Bingo on Wed. the 21st.

The Holy Family Parish in Wynot has their Spring Breakfast on Sunday March
25th serving from 9am-1pm. Serving Pancakes, French toast, Sausage,
Scrambled eggs, fruit, juice, and coffee.
The Corps of Discovery Welcome Center has one more crazy day of shopping at
their I Hate Winter Shopping Blitz on March 17th from 9am to 2pm at the
Corps of Discovery Welcome Center. Stop out for a variety of craft and
commercial vendors to support local products and small businesses. Find the

available. Come out and beat the winter blues.
We are looking forward to Spring! Crofton will be putting a perennial garden
at the entrance of the North Park, and volunteers are looking for anyone
wishing to share perennials to help start and develop the garden. If you
have perennials you’d like to donate, please contact Susie Hillman or the
Crofton Fitness Classes at the City Auditorium on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30pm. The fitness classes work for many different fitness levels. Get in shape with others from the community!

Crofton’s Youth Program meets in the city auditorium after school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays when school is in session. All school-aged children are welcome to attend. The Youth Program offers activities, sports, and games for kids, and parents are welcome to attend with their children.
Main Street Treasures is a non-profit thrift store operated by volunteers. The store sells clothing, housewares, small furniture, small appliances, lawn & garden items, toys, baby stuff, hunting accessories, and other items. Proceeds benefit the Crofton area. Main Street Treasures is open Wednesdays 10am to 8pm, Thursdays and Fridays, 10am to 6pm, Saturdays 10am to 2pm, and the first Sunday of the month 10am to 1pm.
