The Corps of Discovery Welcome Center presents a Nature Hunt and Blue Bird
Workshop on Saturday, April 21st at 9am. Start the morning with a nature
hunt with the opportunity to check out the blue bird trail and travel around
the welcome center searching for hidden trivia, then gear up for a
presentation from Bluebirds Across Nebraska and build your own blue bird
house. The cost of the workshop is $30, which includes your own blue bird
management manual and the materials to build you own blue bird box.
Refreshments and prizes are sponsored by Modern Woodmen of America.

Crofton Fitness Classes at the City Auditorium on Tuesdays and Thursdays at
7:00pm. The fitness classes work for many different fitness levels. Get in
shape with others from the community!
We are looking forward to Spring! Crofton will be putting a perennial garden
at the entrance of the North Park, and volunteers are looking for anyone
wishing to share perennials to help start and develop the garden. If you
have perennials you’d like to donate, please contact Susie Hillman or the
Crofton’s Youth Program meets in the city auditorium after school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays when school is in session. All school-aged children are welcome to attend. The Youth Program offers activities, sports, and games for kids, and parents are welcome to attend with their children.
Main Street Treasures is a non-profit thrift store operated by volunteers. The store sells clothing, housewares, small furniture, small appliances, lawn & garden items, toys, baby stuff, hunting accessories, and other items. Proceeds benefit the Crofton area. Main Street Treasures is open Wednesdays 10am to 8pm, Thursdays and Fridays, 10am to 6pm, Saturdays 10am to 2pm, and the first Sunday of the month 10am to 1pm.
