The 2019 Battle of the Bands between Crofton and Hartington Cedar Catholic will be held on Friday, January 25th at 7:30pm at the Crofton High School Gym. Freewill donation to support YOUR band. Awards for Best Band, Best Tuba Section, Best Drum Line, Highest trumpet Note, Best Trombone Car, and Best Fan Base. Pack the gym to support your band.

You are invited to a Youth Economic Mobility Community Conversation to help better understand how the work of leaders in our community supports positive outcomes for youth in Crofton. The Bridgespan Group and National 4-H council would like to share findings from their economic field report that put Knox County and Cedar County in the top 10% of all rural counties in America. Join us on Thursday, January 24th at Lewis & Clark Pulley Museum in Crofton from 4 to 5:30pm.

Catholic Schools Week is January 26th to February 1st, and St. Rose invites you to the brunch to kick it off on Sunday, January 27th at the St. Rose Parish Hall from 8:30-11:30 am. Unity Supper Grand and Silent Auction items may be left at the hall during the brunch. .

Saturday, January 26th is the St. Rose School Basketball Tournament at Crofton High School Gym.

A run for the Roses – Kentucky Derby Party – St. Rose Unity Supper & Grand Auction, Saturday, February 9, 2019. Doors open at 3:30 for Silent Auction Bidding, Mass that evening is at 5, Social Time starts at 6, and the meal will be served at 6:30. Grand Auction starts at 7pm. Supper tickets are $30 per person in advance or $35 the day of. Tickets are available at St. Rose School or Parish Office, People’s Grocery, Crofton Farm Supply, Farmers & Merchants State Bank. Hundreds of unique Grand & Silent Auction items. Something for everyone! Door prizes, games, & TV raffle. Trip raffle tickets for a Kentucky vacation with options to include tickets to the Kentucky Derby. Only a limited number will be sold. To donate Grand Auction items, contact Joyce Stevens at 402-388-2477 by Jan 27th. To donate Silent Auction items, call Wendy Wieseler at 402-388-2642 or drop them off at Uptown Style.

Crofton’s Youth Program meets after school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Contact the City office for more information.

Main Street Treasures is a non-profit thrift store operated by volunteers. The store sells clothing, housewares, small furniture, small appliances, lawn & garden items, toys, baby stuff, hunting accessories, and other items. Proceeds benefit the Crofton area. Main Street Treasures is open Wednesdays 10am to 8pm, Thursdays and Fridays, 10am to 6pm, Saturdays 10am to 2pm, and the first Sunday of the month 10am to 1pm.

Crofton Community Club Bucks make GREAT gifts for teachers, pastors, employees, grown children, & friends!
