Crofton’s Easter Candy Run is Saturday, April 20th at 10:30am at Crofton’s North Park (by the swimming pool). Bring your Easter basket! You could win a prize. This is open to children in 4th grade and under please. Visit with the Easter Bunny! This event is sponsored by the Crofton Community Club. Thank you for your support!

Senior Center News:
Birthday/Bingo party is today, April 17th, at 1:30.
April 19th-Good Friday Brunch at 10:30, home deliveries at 10
May 5th- Porch-Patio-Garden Tea Party from 1pm to 3pm.
May 8th-the Caregivers Support Group meets at 1:30
The Senior Center has Bingo every Monday and Friday.

Crofton Alumni Association’s invitations for the 2019 Alumni reunion are ready to be sent out. If you graduated from Crofton High School and you don’t receive an invitation in the next couple weeks, make sure to contact Terry Mueller or Erin Dennis at Town & Country Insurance to update your mailing address.

Crofton Community Club’s Annual 4-Person Scramble Golf Tournament is scheduled for Sunday, May 19th. Start getting your teams ready! This tournament supports the Crofton Community Club’s scholarships. We will give 2 – $500 scholarships to Crofton graduates.

Start your training, and get your teams together for the second annual Crofton’s Dam Race, scheduled for July 27th. It’s a new triathlon at Lewis & Clark Lake. Competitors kayak 1.5 miles on the lake, run a 5K through the Weigand Campground, and bike 12 miles into downtown Crofton for a BBQ celebration. Individual participants or teams are welcome! New this year are a half marathon, 5K, and a 12-mile bike ride as individual events. Register at www.allsportscentral.com.

Main Street Treasures is a non-profit thrift store operated by volunteers. The store sells clothing, housewares, small furniture, small appliances, lawn & garden items, toys, baby stuff, hunting accessories, and other items. Proceeds benefit the Crofton area. Main Street Treasures is open Wednesdays 10am to 8pm, Thursdays and Fridays, 10am to 6pm, Saturdays 10am to 2pm, and the first Sunday of the month 10am to 1pm.

Crofton Community Club Bucks make GREAT gifts for teachers, pastors, employees, grown children, & friends! They can be redeemed at any of our member locations, keeping dollars right here in our community. A full list of members are available on our website www.crofton-nebraska.com. These “Bucks” work just like a check and cannot be redeemed for cash, so it is best to order in small increments of $10-$20
