Crofton’s Dam Race is Saturday, July 31st. Get registered for the kayak, run, bike triathlon, the bike race, or the half marathon today. Or, be a part of the race by volunteering to help that day. It’s a fun day of racing near Lewis & Clark Lake followed by an after party at the Haymarket in Crofton.
The Senior Citizens Center is having a spaghetti feed on Friday, July 30, from 5 to 8PM. Spaghetti, garlic bread, drinks, and dessert. $7 for a single plate, $10 for all you can eat, $5 for ages 5-11. Come load up on carbohydrates before Crofton’s Dam Race! If you can donate desserts, dry spaghetti noodles, hamburger, or foam plates please let Mary know as soon as possible – 402-388-2365.
Meals at the Senior Citizens Center are served Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at noon and Thursday at 6:00. Please call the senior center at 402-388-2365 at least 2 hours in advance to be signed up for a meal. Dine in, to-go and delivery meals are available.
The senior center is looking for sponsors for Birthday Bingo. A sponsor can be a business or a family or a group of any kind. The cost is $30. The senior center will provide posters and advertising in the weekly article and on Facebook. Call Mary at 402-388-2365 if you would like to be a sponsor.

In an effort to conserve water, the City of Crofton is requesting that residents limit watering of lawns and gardens. People living in even-numbered homes should water only on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. Odd numbered households can water on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. These restrictions are until further notice from Cedar Knox Rural Water.
Pray the Rosary for rain and favorable weather Wednesdays at 7pm at St. Rose of Lima in Crofton and Saturdays at 7am at St. Joseph’s in Constance. All are welcome.
Main Street Treasures is a non-profit thrift store operated by volunteers. The store sells clothing, housewares, small furniture, small appliances, lawn & garden items, toys, baby stuff, hunting accessories, and other items. Proceeds benefit the Crofton area. The store is open Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 10am to 6pm, and Saturdays 10am to 3pm.
