Are you interested in becoming a hero in your community? Consider being an EMT in Crofton! There will be an informational meeting regarding classes and course requirements at the Hartington Fire Hall on Wednesday, May 11th, at 7pm. Talk with current EMTs and meet the course instructor. EMT classes will be held at the Hartington Fire & Rescue Hall this fall. Take advantage of the local classes!
St. Rose School’s Spring Concert & Raffle is Wednesday, May 11th, at 7pm at St. Rose Hall.
American Legion’s Annual Baseball Raffle is Saturday, May 14th, at the Legion Hall. Doors open at 6:30pm.
Crofton Community Club Golf Tournament, Sunday, May 15th, starting at 9am at Crofton Lakeview Golf Course.

American Legion Memorial Day Service, Monday, May 30th, 11am, at the City Auditorium.
Meals at the Senior Citizens Center are served Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday at noon and Thursday at 5:30pm. Please call the senior center at 402-388-2365 at least 2 hours in advance to be signed up for a meal. Dine in, to-go, and delivery meals are available. Exercise classes at the Senior Center are held on Fridays at 10:30am. The senior center is looking for someone to volunteer the third Monday of each month to call Bingo and a volunteer to deliver meals in town once a week.
The Crofton Community Sign would love to announce your special messages such as birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, thank you, and congratulatory messages. Please contact Erin Dennis at 605-760-4470 to get information on how to get messages for your loved ones on the community sign. Personal messages are $5/day plus tax. This money goes to Main Street Treasures to pay for electricity and maintenance at the sign.
The CHS Class of 1977 is in the planning stage of the Alumni Banquet scheduled for Saturday, July 2nd. If you have name or address changes for alumni members, please contact Terry Mueller or Erin Dennis.

Main Street Treasures is a non-profit thrift store operated by volunteers. The store sells clothing, housewares, small furniture, small appliances, lawn & garden items, toys, baby stuff, hunting accessories, and other items. Proceeds benefit the Crofton area. The store is open Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 10am to 6pm, and Saturdays 10am to 3pm.
