Crofton ECAP Community Conversation focusing on Action Planning will be held on Monday, March 16th, at 6:00pm, at the City Auditorium. All are invited to attend! A future conversation is scheduled for Monday, March 30th for Moving to Action. You are invited to be a part of the conversation. Following the action planning, stick around for a Crofton Community Club briefing.

Thursday March 12th, in honor of Pi Day, the Senior Center will hold its annual Pie Sale with a variety of delicious home backed pies for a suggested donation. If your gift is pie-baking, please consider donating to this spring fundraiser.

St. Rose Fish Fry is Friday, March 13th, Serving from 5pm to 8pm with local delivery and carry-out available from 4 to 5:30. Call 402-388-4393 after 4pm to place your order. All you can eat pollock, cheesy potatoes, baked beans, macaroni salad, and dinner roll.

Birthday Bingo at the Senior Center is Wednesday, March 18th, at 1pm. This month’s birthday bingo is sponsored by the Tramp Family, and the birthday cake is provided by Farmers & Merchants State Bank and prepared by Janine Tramp at People’s Grocery. All ages are invited!

Meals at the Senior Citizens Center are served Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at noon and Thursday at 5:00pm. Please call the senior center at 402-388-2365 at least 2 hours in advance to be signed up for a meal. Dine in, to-go, and delivery meals are available. Check out the weekly menu in the Crofton Journal or stop at the Senior Center for the monthly menu. Starting March 1st, the senior center will not offer hot meals on Fridays, but instead will offer $4 Frozen Fridays/Cook’s Choice take-out meals. Every Friday, frozen meals will be available for sale with a suggested donation of $4. The Center will remain open on Fridays for other regularly scheduled activities. Exercise classes are held on Wednesdays at 3:30pm and Fridays at 10:30am. Play Bingo on Fridays and Mondays at 1pm.

The Crofton Community Sign would love to announce your special messages such as birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, thank you, and congratulatory messages. Please contact Erin Dennis at 605-760-4470 to get information on how to get messages for your loved ones on the community sign. Personal messages are $5/day plus tax. This money goes to Main Street Treasures to pay for electricity and maintenance at the sign.

Crofton Community Club meetings are held on the third Monday of the month at 6:30pm. Join us! Meetings are held at various locations throughout the community.

Main Street Treasures is a non-profit thrift store operated by volunteers. The store sells clothing, housewares, small furniture, small appliances, lawn & garden items, toys, baby stuff, hunting accessories, and other items. Proceeds benefit the Crofton area. The store is open Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 10am to 6pm, and Saturdays 10am to 3pm.

These “Bucks” work just like a check and cannot be redeemed for cash, so it is best to order in small increments of $10-$20

The Crofton Community Club is always looking for individuals and businesses to strive for the future of Crofton. Dues are reasonable and help support activities in and around the Crofton area.
