Birthday Bingo at the Senior Center, Wednesday, May 15th, at 1pm. This month’s bingo is sponsored by The Shop on 2nd, and cake is provided by Farmers & Merchants State Bank.

Crofton Community Club 4-person scramble Golf Tournament at Crofton Lakeview Golf Course this Sunday, May 19th, at 9am. Pin prizes, door prizes, great food, and lots of fun. Please call the golf course with questions. Crofton Community Club members, please drop off your door prizes to Erin Dennis at Town & Country Insurance.

May’s Crofton Community Club meeting is Monday, May 20th, at 6:30pm, at Crofton’s South Park. We will discuss summer activities and community projects. Please join us!

The senior center invites you to patriotic fun on Thursday, May 23rd, at 4:45 with games, laughs, and refreshments before the evening meal. Wear your favorite red, white, and blue attire.

The senior center will close early on Friday, May 24th, and there will be no bingo or exercises that day. They will serve a 10:30am brunch in place of a noon meal on Friday, May 24th. Please contact the senior center if you would like to have Friday’s brunch by calling with your reservation Thursday or by 9am Friday. The senior center will be closed on Monday, May 27th, for Memorial Day.

The Omaha Urban Deanery for Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women invites you to a Spirituality Day on Tuesday, June 11th, from 9am to 3pm at Sacred Heart Parish Center in Norfolk. RSVP with $20 fee by June 1st.

Meals at the Senior Citizens Center are served Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday at noon and Thursday at 5:30pm. Please call the senior center at 402-388-2365 at least 2 hours in advance to be signed up for a meal. Dine in, to-go, and delivery meals are available. Coffee and Conversation is every Monday starting at 8:30am. Bingo is played on Mondays and Fridays from 1 to 3pm, and Exercise Classes are held on Wednesdays from 3:30 to 4:30pm and Fridays from 10:30 to 11:30am.

The Crofton Community Sign would love to announce your special messages such as birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, thank you, and congratulatory messages. Please contact Erin Dennis at 605-760-4470 to get information on how to get messages for your loved ones on the community sign. Personal messages are $5/day plus tax. This money goes to Main Street Treasures to pay for electricity and maintenance at the sign.

CHS Alumni Books are available for sale at People’s Grocery, and School Lunch Cookbooks are available at Main Street Treasures. Buy yours while they last!

Crofton Community Club meetings are held on the third Monday of the month at 6:30pm. Join us! Meetings are held at various locations throughout the community. Ask a Crofton Community Club member for more information. Membership letters will go out at the end of March. Be sure to join in 2024!

Main Street Treasures is a non-profit thrift store operated by volunteers. The store sells clothing, housewares, small furniture, small appliances, lawn & garden items, toys, baby stuff, hunting accessories, and other items. Proceeds benefit the Crofton area. The store is open Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 10am to 6pm, and Saturdays 10am to 3pm.
